Dr. Carla Kriwet is Chief Business Leader Connect Care and Health Informatics at Philips. In this capacity, she oversees Healthcare Informatics Solutions & Services (HISS), which consists of our activities in Healthcare IT, Health Suite Digital Platform and Healthcare Transformation Services; Population Health Management, which combines activities in Personal Health Solutions, Hospital to Home, and Home Monitoring; and Patient Care and Monitoring Solutions (PCMS).
Carla Kriwet also holds the responsibility for the CEO of Patient Care and Monitoring Solutions at Philips. In this capacity, she is responsible for patient monitoring, therapeutic care, value segment solution and medical consumables and sensors, as well as supporting services.
She began her career in 1995 at ABB Daimler Benz in New Delhi, India. From 1997 to 2003, she worked for the Boston Consulting Group in Hamburg and London before joining Linde AG. In 2005, she was appointed CEO of the Global Homecare business, and two years later became COO of all Healthcare activities. In 2009, she was promoted to Head of Linde Healthcare Europe. In this role, she was awarded the "Entrepreneur of the Year" Award by the German business newspaper "Handelsblatt". In 2011, she moved to Dräger as Member of the Executive Board, responsible for Sales and Marketing.
Carla Kriwet was appointed Executive Vice President and Chair of the Management Board of Philips Deutschland GmbH and Chair of Philips DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). She is also a member of the Supervisory Board of Zeiss Meditec and Save the Children e.V., Member of the Advisory Board of Hamburger Investitions- und Förderbank as well as Member of YPO (Young Presidents Association).
Carla Kriwet was born in Essen, Germany, in 1971. She studied Business administration in Würzburg, New Delhi, Tokyo and St. Gallen, where she also concluded her PhD studies. She is married and has three children.
